Fathering Project Games

The LADDs threw down the challenge to all fathering figures and their kids by hosting a round robin of team games and it was answered by Edgewater and Kinross Primary Schools.We started with a tagging game of ‘Octopus’ and we should have made the field smaller because these kids where quite slippery and had the moves to dodge the taggers and the ‘octopi’.Next the old favorites – egg and spoon relay and three legged races. I am glad we did boil the eggs because some ended up more like scrambled ones however nobody noticed because the kids smiles were infectious.The  tunnel ball, t ball and ‘spider’ were no different.However the real action was with the tug of war challenges.Thanks to all who got involved and joined in the spirit and made the day a great experience for all.
